As a player for over thirty years and the designer/builder of dozens of instruments, my passion since 1999 has been to build the ultimate six string acoustic guitar for you, the player. Utilizing a background in engineering, knowledge of lutherie past and present, and coupled with acoustic science, the Karol guitar provides the ease of playability, complexity of tone, and aesthetic beauty you desire in your next instrument.

Being a small-volume maker with extensive and varied experience, I look forward to individually hand-crafting my next instrument to meet your needs and expectations. The magic combination of tonewoods, custom appointments and advanced construction methods is just a phone call away...

Bruce Cockburn used his new Karol Baritone to record the track "Peace March" on his new CD, Life Short Call Now. Pictured below is Bruce playing the 2nd encore at the Paradise Theatre in California on August 6th, 2006. He played Peace March for the first time live on tour that night, and ended the show with a baritone version of All the Diamonds. Many thanks to Layne Russell for the wonderful photos, check out more of Layne's work at www.flickr.com/photos/applecrisp . Learn more about Bruce at www.cockburnproject.net, and on his personal site www.brucecockburn.com .
