When I first started building guitars, to make a sonically inspiring, aesthetically pleasing instrument was never the end goal. It was the starting point of a blank canvas.
For almost 20 years, I have been pursuing and collecting the best materials from all corners of the world, in order to make the best possible guitar for you, the client - the person with a vision, and a sound in their mind, of what a custom made guitar would be.
Working closely with each client right from the start - the selection of woods, the right body size, the correct neck shape, the nuances of colour and grain in selecting the wood for a rosette or headstock overlay - every little detail pertaining to your vision is carefully assembled into the final product - the guitar built just for you.
If you have been dreaming of a custom made guitar, call or email me today. We can start down the road on a journey that culminates in the guitar of your dreams becoming a reality.
I will exhibiting guitars at the 1st annual Burlington Guitar Show, on April 14th, being held at the Black Bull in Burlington Ontario (Just north of the QEW on Guelph Line). Drop by and try out some handmade Karol guitars - I will have the Black Widow Signature multiscale, a 000, a Baritone, a Solo, and a Brazilian 00 on display.
New in tonewoods - just in, a couple of billets to potentially be made in to one piece electric Tele necks, one a killer chunk of birdseye maple, the other in Padong rosewood (a true dalbergia from Laos).
I also procured another large piece of pomele nogal (Peruvian Walnut), enough for 2 acoustic sets (OM sized), and a large piece of highly figured birdseye maple for electric fretboards
